Chenango County Man Accused of Waving Gun, Causing Alarm

A Chenango County man is accused of causing alarm by displaying a gun during a dispute at a home in the Town of Norwich. 

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]46-year old Matthew Rolley was charged with menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.

Sheriff’s Deputies say they got a 911 hang-up call about a man with a gun at a home in the Town of Norwich Saturday and found there had been a domestic dispute during which a gun was displayed, putting three people, one of them under the age of 17, into a state of fear.

An order of protection was issued on behalf of the child and Rolley was ordered to appear in Town of Norwich Court at a later date.
