The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team won their second straight road game as they defeated the Vermont Catamounts in Burlington January 21.  Winning for visiting teams at Patrick Gymnasium is never easy.  With the victory, the Bearcats have surpassed last year's America East win total and move above .500 with a 3-2 record. Vermont falls to 1-5 versus America East teams.

Imani Watkins scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Binghamton offense.  Alyssa James notched 16 points and McKayla Hernandez scored 10 points  for the Bearcats. Binghamton made 22 free throws in 26 attempts...84.6 percent.

Binghamton stays on the road and will play at UMass Lowell on Sunday, January 24.  The game begins at 10:45 a.m. on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  The Binghamton men will follow that game with a match-up against the River Hawks.  The Bearcats return home to host Maine on Saturday, January 30 at the Events Center
