David Peterson Named New Binghamton Rumble Ponies GM

Today, August 27, 2026, officials with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and Diamond Baseball Holdings announced a new General Manager for the team.

David Peterson, a 19-year veteran of professional and collegiate baseball, was promoted to General Manager. Peterson has worked for the Worcester Tornadoes/Braveharts of the Can-Am League.

With the Bravehearts, Peterson spent 11 seasons as General Manager, leading the organization to four league championships and six top-10 finishes in national collegiate summer league attendance.

Peterson is a graduate of Syracuse University. He joined the Rumble Ponies in August 2025 as Assistant General Manager of Sales. Officials note that Peterson will oversee the club’s day-to-day business operations.

Dave has quickly become an important part of the Rumble Ponies organization, and his knowledge of the club and passion for creating exceptional fan experiences makes him an excellent fit to lead the team.
