The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team is playing its best basketball in recent memory.  The Bearcats have won three straight road games...something they have not done since January, 2011.  They are 4-2 in America East...more wins than the Bearcats garnered in conference action in the past two seasons combined. Pandora Wilson paces the UMBC offense averaging 12.6 point and 6.9 rebounds per game.

The Bearcats have several offensive weapons.  Imani Watkins is averaging 17.2 points per game, third in America East.  Alyssa James is fifth in conference scoring.  She is averaging 16.3 points per game and fourth in rebounding with 8.7 per game .Kim Albrecht is averaging 11.6 points per contest and is first in America East in three-point shooting with a 40 percent scoring rate.

The Retrievers have won the last four meetings between the two teams.  Overall Binghamton has a 15-11 advantage in the series.  BU returns to the Events Center on Saturday, January 30 at 2:00 p.m. with a game against the Maine Black Bears.
