This list of arrests and charges is from the Broome County Sheriff's report on February 3rd and 10th, 2026. Activities and arrests are listed below. Persons accused of any crime are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Multiple Charges

According to the Sheriff's report, Angela McCarthy was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, following an investigation during the intake process at the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Anthony Goodwin, Sr., of Scranton, Pennsylvania, was charged with Resisting Arrest, Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, following a warrant execution in the Town of Kirkwood.

Criminal Possession

Following an investigation into gunshots fired in the Town of Dickinson, Isaiah Johnson from Binghamton was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree.

Johnathan Ayala of Binghamton was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree, and Unlawful Possession of an Ammunition Feeding Device, following an investigation into gunshots fired in the Town of Dickinson.

Also, following the investigation into gunshots fired in the Town of Dickinson, Samear Wallace of Binghamton was charged with three Counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree, two Counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd in the Degree, and two Counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th in the Degree.

In addition to the above two charges, Jahliek Walker-Coates from Binghamton was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, following the investigation into gunshots fired in the Town of Dickinson.

Menacing

Richard Stafford, III, was charged with Menacing in the 1st Degree, following an investigation into a dispute in the Town of Chenango.

Resisting Arrest

The Sheriff's Office notes that following a traffic stop in the Village of Johnson City,  Devin Felton of Binghamton was charged with Resisting Arrest,  Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, and Driving While Intoxicated.

Violating the Sex Offender Registration Act

Juan Padilla-Cruz, from Kirkwood, was charged with violating the Sex Offender Registration Act, following an investigation into SORA violations in the Town of Dickinson.

Bail Jumping

Following a Warrant Execution in the Town of Dickinson, Tonya Lewis of Binghamton was charged with Bail Jumping in the 3rd Degree.

Obstruction of Governmental Administration

Maurice Sutton from Binghamton was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, along with multiple traffic violations, following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.
