Binghamton Man Charged With Drunk Driving in Crash into House
A Binghamton man is accused of driving with a blood alcohol content of three times the legal limit after he allegedly hit a car, sending it crashing into the corner of a house on Conklin Road.
New York State Police say 45-year-old Paul Galusha is charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Authorities accuse Galusha of driving with a blood alcohol level at .24% when his vehicle hit the car at 3:23 p.m. August 5, causing it to crash into the house. A passenger in the car suffered a reported leg injury.
Troopers say their investigation revealed Galusha had been convicted of DWI within the past 10 years, resulting in the felony aggravated drunk driving charge.
He was released on his own recognizance and ordered to appear in Town of Conklin Court at a later date.
