Binghamton Man Arrested for DWI More than 4X Legal Limit

New York State Police say a Binghamton man was sent to the hospital for observation after troopers measured his blood alcohol content at .34%, more than four times the legal limit.

38-year-old Joel Taylor was arrested after authorities responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle and found him passed out in the driver’s seat with the vehicle running in the parking lot of the Weis supermarket on Hooper Road in Endwell at 3:13 a.m. October 14.

Taylor was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and ordered to appear in Town of Union Court later this month.
