The Black Bears continue to sign players for their upcoming inaugural season in Binghamton this fall.

It was announced yesterday that the Binghamton Black Bears have signed Defenseman Sam Turner to the 2021 roster, the 27-year-old played for the Danville Dashers in 2018 through this past year.

Turner’s exceptional season last year led to the recent signing with Binghamton, he also had an impressive college stint for both Midland University and Robert Morris University, scoring 201 points in 179 games played.

According to a news release Black Bears owner Andreas Johansson considers Turner to be a great asset to the team, Johansson said “He has shown great attitude and willingness to work hard, and we look forward to seeing him in a Black Bears jersey this season"

In the release Binghamton Black Bears head coach James Henry said "Adding Sam to our roster is an important signing. He is a well-rounded player, and we are expecting him to play a big role for our team this season. We look forward to Sam getting on the ice with us in Binghamton."

Early this week The Black Bears announced the signing of Defenseman Kyle Powell who played for the FPHL Danbury Titans and the Watertown Wolves.
