The Binghamton Bearcats are happy to return home for a few days before venturing to Buffalo to face the Bulls December 12 at 2:00 p.m. (air at 1:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton left Michigan after going 0 for 2 in games there over the past several days.  Binghamton lost to Michigan State in East Lansing December 5 and then dropped an 83-72 decision to Oakland University December 7.

The Bearcats and Golden Grizzlies were tied 45-45 at the half but Binghamton went just 1-8 shooting to start the second half enabling Oakland to take the lead.  Guard Kay Felder scored 19 of his 26 points in the second half to key the Golden Grizzlies offense.  Binghamton was paced by a career-high 18 points from freshman guard Everson Davis and 15 points from junior Marlon Beck.

The loss drops Binghamton's record to 2-6 while Oakland moves to 5-3.  The Bearcats head to Buffalo and then return to host St. Francis College of Pa. December 15th at 7:30 p.m.  The BU women play host to Nyack College at 5:00 p.m. to kickoff a Binghamton Bearcat doubleheader at the Events Center.
