Still in the heat of the summer, the Binghamton Devils are making news with player personnel signings and moves.

The latest transaction involves the signing of goaltender Eamon McAdam to a one-year American Hockey League contract.

According to information provided by the Binghamton Devils, McAdam split last season between the Toronto Marlies and the Newfoundland Growlers in the ECHL.  In the AHL with the Marlies, McAdam posted a 2.99 goals against average with a .897 save percentage.

With Newfoundland, McAdam registered a goals against average of 2.62 and a save percentage of .911.  Newfoundland won the ECHL Championship, capturing the Kelly Cup. McAdam played college hockey at Penn State University.

The Binghamton Devils are selling tickets for the upcoming season.  The Devils open their regular season on Saturday, October 5 when they host the Utica Comets at 7:05 p.m. at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.
