The Binghamton Mets and Akron RubberDucks square off in a doubleheader in Akron beginning at 5:35 PM.  Last night Akron rolled by Binghamton 10-2 handing the B-Mets their eighth loss in their last ten games.

Heading into today's games the B-Mets are just two games above the .500 mark at 32-30.  Akron is 39-24.  The B-Mets send a pair of left-handers to the mound against the RubberDucks.  Angel Cuan gets the nod in game one.  He brings a 1-3 record into the game.  In the nightcap Hamilton Bennett will get the start looking for his first win of the season.  He has made six appearances in relief and has a sparkling .93 ERA.

Road games have not been kind to Binghamton recently.  The B-Mets have lost eleven of their last twelve outings on the road.  Catcher Kevin Plawecki continues to light up Eastern League pitching.  He is hitting .337 on the year and leads the B-Mets in runs driven in with 38.
