A Tioga County woman was sent to jail after she allegedly entered the Spencer-VanEtten High School after being ordered to stay away.

Authorities say 18-year-old Bridget Nickerson of South Hill Road, Spencer, was charged with criminal trespass on school property.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Nickerson also was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and physical harassment.

Investigators say sheriff's deputies arrested Nickerson Wednesday afternoon after she had been advised not to enter the high school.

The woman was said to have been involved in a domestic disturbance with someone else.

The fight allegedly involved punching, biting and pulling the hair of the other person.

Nickerson was arraigned before a Spencer town judge. She was sent to Tioga County Jail on $10,000 bail.
