Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]The National Weather Service is advising residents that the Twin Tiers could be in for a mixed bag of precipitation.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. January 10 until 1 a.m. January 11 with a potential for one to three inches of snow along with a light glaze of ice starting mid-day and changing to rain by evening.

NOAA says winds could also complicate things and cause some scattered power outages.

People driving or even walking should be aware of changing conditions and expect some slippery spots.
