Vestal police say a Broome County resident faces felony weapon and drug charges after a search warrant was executed at a town hotel.

Authorities say 26-year-old Tieler Kennerup of Windsor was arrested in connection with Tuesday's raid at the Hampton Inn on the Vestal Parkway East.

Investigators say a handgun, heroin, fentanyl and methamphetamine were confiscated. Police also found scales and packaging material.

Kennerup was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. He also faces two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Kennerup was arraigned at the Broome County Public Safety Building. He is being held on an unrelated charge.
