Water Main Break on Old Vestal Road

Officials in the Town of Vestal Water and Wastewater Division are reporting a water main break on Old Vestal Road.

The break is in the area of Bunn Hill Road.

Crews were called to the scene at around 5:30 a.m. November 3 and the westbound lane in the area west of Route 201 was reported still closed about 3 hours later.

The Water Department is requesting traffic avoid the area while work is going on.

There's been no word on the impact of the break on the water pressure in the area.
