Volatile Meth Lab Found at Dickinson Gas Station

​Authorities are investigating a mobile methamphetamine manufacturing operation that resulted in shutting down of a Town of Dickinson gas station temporarily.

Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the Express Mart near Interstate 81 Exit 5 at around 2 a.m. April 6, found the volatile meth lab and shut down the gas station.

The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team was also called in.

Communications officials did not have any additional information about materials found in the vehicle, arrests or charges.
