Police say they identified and interviewed the person responsible.

Posting on their own Facebook page, Vestal Police said additional interviews were conducted as a precaution and they were confident no threat was ever made or intended.

Vestal Police published a post at around 10 p.m. October 24 regarding the concern raised on social media.

Authorities say they continue to be diligent in having a presence in the school and for School Resource Officers to be available to students, staff and visitors of the Vestal School District.
