Troopers say they found two adult dogs and four puppies left inside a crate outside the trailer and Smith nowhere to be found.

Authorities posted a warrant issued for Smith on Facebook and got several tips leading them to find Smith in the City of Utica on Thursday, February 11.

He’s charged with six counts of failure to provide proper sustenance to the animals and was released to wait for his next date in Town of Davenport Court.
