UPDATE: Authorities Identify Motorcyclist Killed in Endwell Crash

Broome County Sheriff's officials say an Apalachin man is dead after his motorcycle hit the rear of another vehicle while traveling on Route 17 west near Endwell August 4.

26-year-old Peter Vasilopoulos was riding the motorcycle at 5:15 p.m when it hit the other westbound vehicle and he was ejected from the bike.

The occupants of the other vehicle were not hurt.

The highway was closed from Exit 69 to 70 for about four hours.

The crash is still under investigation.
