A Binghamton man is charged with felony grand larceny after a Walmart store manager said a customer became unruly.

Johnson City Police say 27 year old Jonathan Morales allegedly acted up on May 14 and refused to leave the store after being denied his attempt to buy alcohol.

Police say Morales allegedly grabbed the manager’s cell phone from his hand as he attempted to call police and threw it to the ground, breaking it.

Morales fled the store before police arrived but was identified and found later.

In addition to grand larceny, Morales is charged with two counts of criminal mischief.

He’s been ordered to appear in Village Court next month.
