Everyone in the building was able to escape and there were no reports of injuries.

By about 9 a.m. authorities say the firefighters had the flames knocked down but remained at the scene.

The building appears to have up to four units and is located between Airport Road and Asbury Avenue. Real estate listings claim the lot is about one and a half acres. It is situated very close to the Chenango Bridge Airport in the Town of Chenango. It is also not very far from the Chenango Forks High School.
