Authorities say 32-year-old Brenda Russell of Endicott was arrested around 11:05 p.m. Wednesday.

Troopers were sent to Hall Street following a 911 call reporting an unconscious driver.

A responding trooper found a locked 2003 Toyota Camry that was stopped with its engine running.

Police were unable to wake Russell, who was in the driver's seat. Concerned that it may have been a possible drug overdose, a trooper broke a passenger side window.

Officials say Russell woke up shortly after the window was smashed. She did not require medical attention at the scene.

Russell was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Her blood alcohol content was measured at 0.11 percent. She also was cited for other traffic violations.

Russell was ordered to appear in Union town court on April 11.
