Trio Caught on Camera Stealing Firearms in Spencer
New York State Police are releasing surveillance video of three men breaking into a home where several firearms were stolen.
Authorities say a Black man, a white man and a light-skinned man, all apparently in their 20s, are seen on the video at a home on Vennel Road in the Town of Spencer at around 3:20 p.m. on November 16 breaking into the home and leaving headed toward the Chemung/Tompkins County line. The thieves are also caught on tape coming back at around 4 p.m. to try, unsuccessfully, to get into a garage.
The homeowner reports several firearms were stolen.
A gray Ford Edge sport utility vehicle is also seen with the suspects on the video that has been posted on Facebook by the State Police.
The one suspect was wearing a red and black Champion-brand coat, black pants with white stripes down the legs, red sneakers and a black ski mask. The white man also has black pants with white stripes, was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on it and was wearing black shoes and a black ski mask and the light-skinned male was wearing a puffy coat, black pants, black and white sneakers and a ski mask.
