Town of Maine Couple Arrested in Drug Bust

A Town of Maine couple is facing drug charges following a raid at a mobile home on Route 26.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force arrested 35 year old Benjamin Kadaronak and 32 year old Jamie Brown while confiscating crystal methamphetamine, brass knuckles, a dagger and digital scales commonly used to weigh drugs.

Authorities say they raided the couple’s home at Mann’s Mobile Court, assisted by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office Highway Patrol and a Binghamton Police K9 unit August 29.

Kadaronak is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Brown is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia.

The pair is being held in the Broome County Jail without bail.
