Tioga Woman Charged After Dogs Attack Livestock

A Newark Valley woman has been accused of failing to confine or restrain a dog after her canines reportedly attacked livestock.

Authorities say 33-year-old Samantha Thompson of Back West Creek Road was arrested Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Thompson's dogs allegedly attacked neighboring livestock.

Thompson was ordered to appear in Town of Candor court later this month.
