Tioga Offers Tourism Promotion Help

Tioga County Tourism has announced an event marketing service to help venues and businesses promote their events in the coming year.

The service offers flier design, can write and distribute a press release, list the event on the county events calendar as well as on state and regional tourism websites, post the event on Facebook and email the digital flyer.

The Tourism agency says it is currently working on the 2017 Calendar of Events brochure and needs to have additions submitted by January 31 to make it into the publication.  The listing is free.

About seven-thousand copies of the brochure are distributed throughout New York State.

Tioga County Tourism also has a website: www.experiencetioga.com and a weekly emailed called

“This Week in Tioga” that goes out to over one-thousand accounts.
