Tioga Downs Foundation Set to Award Grants to Local Charities

The Tioga Downs Regional Community Foundation is now accepting grant applications  to be awarded to area charities and non-profit organizations.  According to a press release from Tioga Downs Casino Resort organizations have until May 31 to submit applications for the first round of grants for 2019.

According to information in the release the Foundation is going to award $500,000 to groups in Broome, Tioga, Chemung and Bradford counties twice in 2019.  These groups may be charitable groups, religious, literary, scientific or educational in nature.

501(c)(3) organizations can apply two times annually for awards to be determined for July and January presentations.  The Foundation will donate a total of one million dollars over the course of one calendar year.  For additional information regarding the application process  organizations can go online to:
