Tioga County Sheriff Arrest Two for Drugs in Traffic Stop on 17C

Tioga County Sheriff’s Officials were holding two suspects on drug-related charges following a vehicle stop on State Route 17C in the Town of Owego.

33-year-old Alan Wheeler of Endicott and 35-year-old William Hyer of Owego were arrested January 8 at around 4:18 a.m and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and packaging.

Both men were sent to the Tioga County Jail with bail set at $25,000 each.
