Our Community has been hard hit by the pandemic, and the United Way of Broome County is looking to help nonprofits with some of the challenges they have faced this past year.

According a news release, the United Way of Broome County is pleased to announce the Capacity Building Grant for 2021-2022.

The program is being put into place to provide funding to help not for profit agencies with funding for building and capital projects.

The goal is to support and strengthen the organizations that provide valuable services to our community, through strategic priorities, that include health, education, and financial stability.

According the United Way News release the grant will support, capacity building projects that must improve the capacity of program services of the organization, along with capital projects.

Letter of intents must be submitted by Friday February 12, 2021, and applications must be submitted by Friday March 12, 2021
