The Other, Other, Other Big Game Sunday is at Ross Park Zoo

There’s the big human football game Feburary 2, the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet and the Kitten Bowl on the Hallmark Channel but don’t forget the guys in black and white on the grid iron.

It’s not about the referees for the big game. It’s all about the penguins.

For a third year, people can see Binghamton’s penguins face off in the Penguin Bowl to raise awareness for endangered species and in support for Binghamton’s Ross Park Zoo conservation efforts.

The African penguins compete for points while playing with toys that offer the birds enrichment.

The game will be available on Facebook and Instagram from 10 to 11 a.m. Sunday.  You can follow the zoo @RossParkZoo.

After the big game, you can follow Ross Park for the post-game and awarding of MVP (Most Valuable Penguin.)
