
Teens Rescued After 60-Foot Fall in Waverly

Two teenagers are being treated for injuries suffered when they fell off a trail near water falls at the Waverly Glen in Tioga County.
Waverly Police were called to the falls area of the trail AT 12:36 p.m. June 20 and found a 15 year old girl and 17 year old boy in a stream bed.
The pair was rescued by the Waverly-Barton Fire Department with assistance from Greater Valley Emergency Medical Services and taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they believe the teens fell about 60 feet from the trail into the stream bed.
