Teen Hurt in ATV Crash in Delaware County

A 13-year-old girl is being treated for serious injuries after crashing an all-terrain vehicle in Delaware County.

New York State Police say witness reported hearing a crash and authorities found the ATV rolled over off Bear Brook Road in Cadosia at around 1 p.m. November 3.  Troopers say people nearby believed the girl had crashed into a tree.

Authorities say the girl apparently sustained head injuries. The teen was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in Margaretville. Her condition was unavailable.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
