Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service in Binghamton is advising some winter weather could be in store for the Twin Tiers.

The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Cortland Count with a possibility of accumulating lake effect snow.

Depending on where you are, possibly only separated by a few miles, may determine if you are looking at two inches of snow or a half foot of snow.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 10 p.m. December 27 to 7 a.m. December 28.

There could be a potential for more slippery driving over the next few days, accelerating area motorists’ recollection of their winter driving skills.

Forecasters say snow and blowing snow are expected.

The National Weather Service has a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for parts of the Twin Tiers.

The National Weather Service has cancelled the Winter Storm Warning for Broome and Chenango Counties in New York and Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties in Pennsylvania.

Winter Storm Warnings and Weather Advisories are in effect for the Twin Tiers until early March 8.

The National Weather Service says a Winter Weather Advisory in in effect to 2 p.m. February 23.
