The National Weather Service has cancelled the Winter Storm Warning for Broome and Chenango Counties in New York and Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties in Pennsylvania but the Winter Storm Warning continues to areas to the east until 4 a.m. March 8.

For the Advisory area, forecasters are now calling for additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches.

The National Weather Service is projecting snow to move into the Broome County area by noon and last until early evening. Snow will taper to snow showers early Thursday morning.

Officials still caution motorists to plan on difficult travel conditions for the afternoon and evening. Winds gusting as high as 25 mph can cause areas of blowing and drifting snow. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 511.
