Suspects Sought After Gunfire Erupts in Endicott Neighborhood
Endicott police detectives are trying to locate at least two people following the report of gunshots on a village street.
Authorities say the incident occurred in the 1700 block of Tracy Street around 8:10 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigators believe a couple of people exchanged gunfire on Tracy between South Roosevelt and Adams avenues.
Police say it does not appear anyone was injured in the incident.
Those involved in the shooting were gone by the time officers arrived in the neighborhood. Witnesses reported seeing a black-colored sedan that apparently was involved in the incident. The vehicle was spotted leaving the area on South Roosevelt Avenue.
Investigators are asking people who live in the area to check security video from the time around the reported gunfire to determine if they have footage that might help police.
