Julyfest 2013 came to a close this afternoon in Binghamton with the performance of Sherma Andrews and her band.  Andrews was born in Trinidad and has toured the world entertaining thousands with her beautiful and pleasant singing voice.  She has toured with Enrique Iglesias and Britney Spears and worked with Branford Marsalis and Donna Summer.

Her performance brought to a close three days of entertainment, food and fun in Downtown Binghamton.  Julyfest got underway Friday at 10 AM.  Julyfest charges no admission and is partially funded by sponsors and vendors purchasing booth space.

The weather cooperated for much of the event as well with some late showers on Friday night.  People from all over the area attended this year's event.  A two-block section of Court Street was shut for traffic along with a portion of State Street closed for the three days as well.

Organizer Ron Sall, owner of Sall-Stearns, 52 Court Street, Binghamton, says he couldn't be happier with the turnout and the entertainment.  He said vendors were also pleased with the attendance.
