The green, 2010 Honda CRV with license plate HMS9262 was unlocked with the keys inside when it was taken from a home on Main Street overnight between October 2 and 3rd.

State Police say several vehicles in Apalachin had also been reported to have been rummaged through that night.  Authorities say several items were stolen from the largely unlocked vehicles.

Troopers say they think at least two people are involved in the larcenies.

Residents are reminded to keep vehicles locked and do not leave anything valuable in your vehicle.

Anyone with information about the stolen Honda should call State Police in Owego at (607) 687-3961. (Reference case SJS 9185064).
