The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Broome, Chenango and Cortland Counties in New York.  Tioga County is NOT in the advisory area.  A Winter Weather Advisory is also in effect for Susquehanna and Wayne Counties in Pennsylvania.  Those advisories are in effect until midnight. There could be snow accumulations of one to four inches, with the highest accumulations in elevations over 16-hundred feet.

A Winter Storm Warning for Delaware County is in effect until midnight with a potential of four to eight inches of snow with higher amounts in higher elevations. Accumulations in the valley areas are estimated at one to three inches.

The National Weather Service in Binghamton says snow can be heavy at times and mix with rain in the lower elevations.

There could be slippery conditions on area roadways both in the morning and in the evening hours.
