J.C.Show's three-point shot from the corner at the buzzer gave the Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team a come-from-behind 68-67 victory over the LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this (Friday) afternoon.  The Bearcats trailed 30-20 at the half but outscored the Blackbirds 48-37 in the second half to up their record to 4-9.  The Blackbirds fall to 5-6.  In the all-time series Binghamton holds a 4-2 advantage.

The Bearcats went 0-7 from three-point range in the first half but made five of 11 attempts in the second half including the game-winner from Show. Show went 4-8 from three-point range in the second half and finished with 15 points.

Other Bearcats hitting in double figures included: Chancellor Barnard with 18 points, Everson Davis with 13 and Sam Sessoms with 13 points.  Forward Caleb Stewart grabbed nine rebounds and had four blocked shots for BU.

Ty Flowers keyed the Blackbirds by scoring 27 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.  Raiquan Clark also scored in double figures with 15 points for the Blackbirds.

The Bearcagts don't play again until Sunday, December 30 when they travel to meet fourth-ranked Michigan at noon on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
