Pierre Sarr and Richie Caldwell, Jr. played their final college basketball games on Saturday afternoon in Durham, New Hampshire where the Bearcats fell to the Wildcats 89-70.  Both student athletes played large roles for their team throughout their time as Bearcats.

Sarr came to Binghamton University after playing for Binghamton High grad King Rice at Monmouth for three seasons. He came to BU for his final season of college eligibility and to pursue a Master's Degree in Student Affairs Administration. In his single season as a Bearcat Sarr played in 28 of 29 games missing his only game following a broken nose and waiting for a protective mask to be sent.  In those 28 games Sarr averaged 9.1 points per game (fourth in team scoring) and 7.4 rebounds per game (tied with George Tinsley for the team lead).  The native of Dakar, Senegal shot 41 percent from the field, made 73 percent of his free throws and averaged 31.4 minutes of playing time per game.

Caldwell, Jr. came to Binghamton University after playing two seasons at Lamar Community College in Colorado.  A native of Philadelphia, Pa.he is majoring in Human Development. He played in all 29 games this season for the Bearcats. Caldwell, Jr. averaged 24 minutes of playing time per game.  He scored an average of 7.9 points per game which was fifth on the team. He hit on 40 percent of his shots from the floor and shot 70 percent from the free throw line during his senior season.
