Sherburne Man Charged With Assault Following a Big Fight

A Sherburne man is being charged with assault after Chenango County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a location on North Main Street in the Village at around 1 p.m. November 26 with numerous reports of a fight involving more than 6 people.

32 year old Jason Anderson is accused of subjecting a woman to unwanted physical contact, causing injuries to her knee and back.

The woman was taken to Chenango Memorial Hospital for evaluation.North

Authorities say they located Anderson in a North Main Street apartment later.

He was released following his arraignment in Village of Earlville Court and ordered to appear in the Village of Sherburne Court at a later date.
