Second Arrest in Girl’s Murder in Chenango County

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]A second man is now being charged in connection with the death of an 11 year old girl in the Town of Norwich.

New York State Police say 34 year old Tobias Rundstrom-Wooding of Norwich is charged with murder in the death of Jacelyn O’Connor, who was found in the trailer home of 36 year old James Brower July 30.

Police said Brower was attempting to rape the girl when he smothered her.

Troopers have not said what part Rundstrom-Wooding played in the incident.  He is being held in the Chenango County Jail without bail.

The investigation is continuing and authorities say they are still asking anyone with information to call the state police Norwich barracks at (607) 334-3296.
