A Rochester woman is accused of lying to New York State Police about her identity when she was pulled over for speeding on Route 26 in the Town of Triangle at 3:50 p.m. March 27.

Troopers say 27 year old Megan Roger is charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and criminal impersonation.

Authorities say they observed her exceeding the speed limit then found she had given a false name to try to avoid being arrested for driving without a valid driver license.  State Police say Roger’s license had been suspended more than ten times.

She was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
