Roberson Museum Home for the Holidays on So. Tier Close Up
Roberson Museum and Science Center is set to throw open its doors to welcome old friends and newcomers Home for the Holidays for its 64th season and is featured on this week's edition of the local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up.
The annual holiday display of trees and decorations begins November 14 with tours through January 6.
Roberson Executive Director Michael Grasso says he’s excited for his second year as the Front Street, Binghamton museum’s head for the opportunity to show off the trees celebrating the community’s ethnic diversity, the displays and decorations stretching the imaginations of local designers and the public and even a little bit of sorcery to highlight the magic of the season.
In addition to displays, there are activities for families like crafts for the children every Saturday, live performances and planetarium shows.
You can hear all about this year’s Home for the Holidays at Roberson Museum and plans for the new year on Southern Tier Close Up Saturday at 12:10 p.m. on News Radio 1290 WNBF and find out more about the museum and programs at www.roberson.org.
