Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Riders of the Broome County public transit system seem pretty happy with the service according to the latest survey of BC Transit users.

County officials say for the second time this year, customers said they strongly approve of the agency’s new route structure and other transit service features when they were polled.

The surveys were conducted by TransPro Consulting and polled 500 riders on BC Transit buses in September.

County officials say the latest poll shows an increase in customer satisfaction by 36% from the numbers recorded in May.

The County says the route adjustments have resulted in $400,000 in annual operational savings.
