The Village of Endicott is continuing its work at improving the experience for residents, businesses and visitors to the downtown district including Washington Avenue, the Huron Campus and Little Italy neighborhood using a sizeable revitalization grant from New York State.

Residents have less than two weeks to offer their input on planned improvements to the downtown district.  The Endicott Downtown Revitalization Initiative award is for ten million dollars.

A survey is available at www.endicottdri.com/get-involved. The survey deadline is June 7.

In December, Endicott was named one of two Southern Tier winners.

The Downtown Revitalization Initiative is in its fifth year in New York State. The program is investing $200-million in ten districts across the state to help communities envision new ideas to make downtown districts attractive to business and for families in future generations.

The final DRI plan is due to be in place by the end of July.
