Richford’s Fire Chief Dies Unexpectedly

Calling hours will be held May 15 for the Richford Fire Chief.

John Keener passed away unexpectedly May 10 at the age of 49.  He was a lifetime member of the fire department.

Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the MacPherson Funeral Home in Newark Valley followed by the funeral service.

Keener has been Fire Chief in Richford for close to eight years.
