The start of the 2021 Legislation session are starting up, and yesterdays conference introduced a new idea to Reset New York.

The plan proposes the economic as well as fiscal challenges that are facing New York State, many that were caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a news release from Senator Akshar’s office the proposal puts the safety of our communities and way of life at the top of the legislative policy.

The plan lays out safely reopening our small businesses, and ways to help them re-start, as well as employment for residents, helping our schools and college institutions.

The Reset New York Proposal also examines the operating infrastructure of the state, which includes restoring fiscal responsibility, and eliminating over spending issues.

In the news release Deputy Leader Andrew Lanza says “We need to change course before its too late”

Senator Akshar’s news release also states a top priority to address the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, and ways to stop the spread of the virus, and a glaring highlight  that New York State leads our country in residents leaving the state, which includes 126,000 in 2020, and over a million in the past 10 years.

The excerpts of the Reset New York State plan highlights the efforts to bring New Yorkers together, and improve our quality of life.
