
Police Seek Suspect Who Has Repeatedly Stolen from Walmart
Investigators are working to identify a man who has stolen several hundred dollars in cash from a Walmart store over the summer.
According to New York State Police, the "customer" has repeatedly entered the store on Bennie Road in the Town of Cortlandville empty-handed. He has removed merchandise from the shelves and "returned" the items at the customer service counter.
The man provides a receipt on his phone and claims to have purchased the items. He made off with hundreds of dollars during July and August.
Police have released a series of images from the store's surveillance cameras in an effort to learn the name of the suspect.
