Police: Driver Was Drunk At Fast-Food Drive-Thru

State police say a 34-year-old man was arrested following a report of an intoxicated driver at the drive-thru of a restaurant in the town of Oneonta.

Authorities say Richard Siar of Walton was charged with driving while intoxicated. Siar was arrested shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Investigators say troopers were called to a McDonald's restaurant on Route 23 to check on a suspected inebriated motorist.

Police say Siar's blood alcohol content was measured at 0.15 percent.

Siar was ordered to appear in Oneonta town court on March 24.
